Accomodation
The 7 bungalows, honeymoon bungalow, 22 rooms and 4 bedroom apartment are spacious, tastefully furnished and decorated. Some rooms have air conditioning and others are cooled by ceiling fans. All rooms benefit from a balcony or terrace, overlook tropical gardens and face towards the ocean. A freeform swimming pool, an internet corner, a gift shop and a fenced in parking.
All the units are equipped with a small refrigerator, coffee and tea facilities, direct dial telephone, safe deposit box (included in the price), am/fm radio and a large closet. All the bathrooms have a large shower, an extra 220 volts wall-socket for European appliances, hair drier and a large selection of towels

Rooms with ceiling fans :
The 11 rooms located on the upper floor are naturally cooled by ceiling fans as they are built high and in a way that air can circulate very well. All of them have a balcony and spacious bathrooms.

Rooms with air conditioning :
The hotel has 11 rooms with air conditioning which are located on the ground floor. All of them have a terrace and spacious bathrooms.

The apartment :
is situated on the second floor of the main building and overlooks lush tropical grounds. There are four bedrooms, one with a king size bed, a ceiling fan and balcony, one with a queen size bed and air conditioning and two with two single beds each and air conditioning. The well equipped kitchen opens to a spacious living room with ceiling fans and a huge balcony. It has two bathrooms with double sinks and an extra lavatory. One bathroom has a whirlpool, shower and bidet while the other has a shower.

The honeymoon bungalow is surrounded by nature. It is equipped with air conditioning and a ceiling fan above the sleeping area. A king size nest bed is located under the roof and eliminated by dimmer lamps. The living area is facing the ocean. Sliding doors open up to a spacious terrace with an ocean view. 90 m2 of private tropical garden with a hammock and a table are ideal for a private candlelight-dinner. The spacious bathroom has an outside shower with hot water and a double whirlpool.
A special fruit plate and a bottle of champagne are awaiting upon arrival.




Location
The beach Hotel Capitan Suizo is located 4 ½ hours by car or 45 minutes by air from San José International Airport. Liberia International Airport is only a 50-minute drive away.

Hotel Capitan Suizo is located directly on the beach in a privileged area, outside of town and at the end of the bay. Despite the growing and development of this former little fisherman village and its surroundings, Capitan Suizo has maintained its original philosophy that includes the protection of native trees and green areas of the property with its lush tropical garden which homes a variety of wildlife and where it is implicit that nature and animals are integrated with love and respect.
Activities
The Capitán Suizo offers different activities in the hotel itself, such as a fitness corner, board games, a ping pong table, a volleyball net, boogie boards and the rental of surfboards, kayaks and mountain bikes. Furthermore Rosa at the information desk has a wide selection of tours, trips and organized activities.

Kayaking on the estuary, snorkeling, golf, volleyball, ping-pong,
scuba diving, surfing (+ lessons), tennis, sailing (possiblility to see dolphins and sea turtles and at the end of the trip the most spectacular sunsets that nature can offer).

Day tours :
Hiking Rincon de la Vieja Nat.Park :
Hike through the foothills of the nearest active volcano in the province of Guanacaste and admire the secondary activity of this volcano such us fumaroles, mud pots, and bubbling hot water. You can also seek out the wildlife and learn about the tropical dry forest’s transition to rain forest that grows in this area.

Canopy & Hot Springs :
This tour takes you to the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. Check out the adventure of the tropical forest in a different way by riding through the canopy of the forest on sliding cable lines connected to platforms built in the treetops. Then, give yourself the opportunity to experience a volcanic mud bath and enjoy the thermal water of the natural hot springs surrounded by tropical scenery.

Palo Verde National Park :
This tour consists of a boat trip on the Tempisque River at Palo Verde National Park, the most important nesting and feeding site for resident and migratory birds in Costa Rica. It focuses on watching and learning about the species that inhabit this area such as water birds, crocodiles, iguanas and monkeys.

Arenal Volcano National Park :
During the hiking part of this tour you will enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the tropical rainforest and discover the characteristic wildlife of this type of forest. After that, experience the rich mineral pools of the hot springs surrounded by beautiful gardens. If the weather is good the conical shaped volcano and its red lava flows will amaze you.

Tenorio Volcano National Park :
The main attractions of this national park are a blue water waterfall and other sightseeing spots such as: hot water springs, forest crickets, a blue water lagoon and a blue river originated by the discharge of sulfates and other chemical substances. During the hike you can also learn about the rich biodiversity of this rain forest that includes different palm species, heliconias, ferns, bromeliads and orchids.

Barra Honda National Park :
If you enjoy pure adventure and nature, this will be a great option because in this park there are a lot of underground caves; there is one cave open to the public and it has a high number of stalactite and stalagmite formations. Besides descending in to the cave, you will hike in the dry forest and will have the possibility to see panoramic views of the Tempisque River and Palo Verde National Park.

Corobici River Floating :
This tour is an easy ride through the Corobici River on a rubber raft where you will have the opportunity to see the characteristic vegetation of the area as well as interesting wildlife like monkeys, iguanas and wading birds.
