The Club Mistral and Skyriders Golf de Roses is located in the southern part from the bay of Roses ( 5 km away from L' Escala). Near the Station you will find :
- "Bungalow park la Ballena Alegre", which offers plenty of services and activities. The Bungalow , which are situated right behind the Station are ideal for those who want to spend their holidays directly on the spot , and specially in high-season for families ( animation, kids club,....). The price of these Mediteraneo-bungalow depends on the season ( from 285 € to 850 € per week, PROMO after 25th sept.). Within a walk of 10 minutes along the beach, you reach the
- "Villas Coll". These holidayhouses and apartments are situated right behind the dunes, close to the medival village of Sant Marti Empuries. Don’t miss to eat some Tapas and drink some Sangria at this beautiful square of Sant Marti. The houses are for 6 persons ( 3 bedrooms) the apartments for 4. The place to be for group friends or people who look for more space than the bungalows. From this Village Sant Marti you reach L' Escala by walk within 20 minutes. - " El Moli de l' Armentera" is situated in the middle of apple fields in a driving distance of 3 minutes by car. This house ,providing 5 very beautiful and tastefully furnished apartments, is perfect for those who look for a higher standard of self catering accommodation. A beautiful pool and a very good restaurant are there as well. ( 770 € - 1400 € per week depending on the season). The
- "Hotel Riomar" is nice located , directly on the beach, the club mistral can be reached in a 5 minutes walk. The rooms are simple . Quite expensive for its standard. You pay for the position. The very nice Hotel
- " Can Mas" is also situated in a 3 minutes driving distance from Club Mistral. This renovated charming farmhouse disposes 8 rooms. Bed and Breakfast. (from 260 € per week and person in a double room incl breakfast, in high season more expensive). For those who want to stay in the centre of l' Escala ,we propose the
- "Hostal Miryam". You can leave your car and walk to old town centre , where you feel the real Spanish life. Loads of shops, bodegas, Tapas bars , and restaurants are waiting for you. One of the best seafood-restaurants is in the Hotel Miryam itself.( + - 250 € per week and person in a double room incl breakfast, depends on the season).

Eating Out:
- " La Lluna" Restaurant / Night bar ( l' Escala) is our favourite. The "headquarter" of all wind- and kitesurfers. Good food , good music, nice garden , good people. Relation price-quality : perfect!
- " L' Horta" Gastronomic Restaurants in Bellcaire ( 5 km from L' Escala). Very good restaurant , typical Catalonian cuisine. High level.
- " La Devesa del Tor" in Tor. 8 km away from l' Escala, Tapas Bar with friendly atmosphere and a crazy decoration!! In You will be surprised. Taste the cocktails.
- " Pizza Pazza" Restaurant in L' Escala ( Riells) , the best Pizzas in Catalunya.
- " Mocambo" in the old town of L' Escala right at the beach. Italian Food and dangerous cocktails. Very Italian spirit.
- Otherwise you will find many seafoodrestaurants and loads of tapas-bars in L' Escala and close by, L ' Escala is repudiated for its Anchovy Production.

Parties:
- "Morocco" in Playa Montgo ( a part of L' Escala), House music and Terrace, good to start the Party.
- "Rachedingue", 20 km from L' Escala direction Rosas, one of the most famous discos in Europe designed by Salvador Dali himself ( see also his Museum in Figueres). Electro- House.
- "Pacha" in Ampuriabrava, 10 km away from L' Escala, a reference in Club and House music in Spain.
- In L' Escala you will also find the discos " UP6", "Hot", "Tete's", ......

The brandnew Mediteraneo Bungalows from the Camping la Ballena Alegre 2 can be booked now for the first time until end of October, even though the Campground closes on the 25 th of September.
There will be a separated entrance for theses bungalows, which are situated just behind the Club Mistral Building, as the rest of the camping will be closed.
The bungalows are offering enough space for 2 adults and 2 children, as one room has only two small beds.
The bungalows have nice kitchen with sitting area, a terasse, a bathroom and separate toilet.
