Hostal Ampurias *

The 20 beautifully furnished double rooms have a bathroom, some of them a terrace and sea views.
A restaurant with a large terrace and a garden terrace with a barbecue give the hotel a very pleasant atmosphere.
The Continental breakfast is served buffet style.

The Hostal Ampurias is in the township of St. Marti de Empuries, right on the beach of a quiet, protected bay. The hotel is surrounded by pine forests and is about 4 km away from the Club Mistral/Skyriders centre. There is also a beautiful path, partly along the beach, which will take you to the Club Mistral/Skyriders centre on foot (about 20 minutes). The very old building looks like a ruin from the outside but inside (except for a few rooms) it has been very beautifully and tastefully renovated.
Bathing in the small bay directly in front of the hotel, with the massive, mysterious-looking stone mole, dating back to ancient Greek times, towering before you, must surely be the holiday experience par excellence.
