You organized the holiday brilliantly! Everything went perfectly. Orkos in Naxos is beautiful, though it’s a shame there’s no sea view... The breakfast was fine, the staff were friendly, and having the small restaurant attached and the shop right across the street was very convenient. I do have some reservations about Anapnoe, however. We found the atmosphere among the staff really dismal. They all looked so downcast; that really bothered us. The hotel itself is lovely, and the breakfast was perfectly fine (though it was a pity it didn't start until 8:30, given that our lessons often began at 9:00). The breakfast area is sometimes a bit small for the number of guests. Also, for a couple, it’s a shame there’s no swimming pool. It’s impossible to swim in the sea at the beach there (too much wind and too many kitesurfers). At both locations, you really need to rent a vehicle to get around, because boredom sets in when there’s no wind. Fortunately, that was easily arranged. We rented a quad bike in Naxos and a scooter in Paros. All in all, we are very satisfied across the board, though the staff and the general atmosphere at Anapnoe (including the owner of the beach bar) were a bit of a downside.
