Ilha do Guajirú, Brazil’s Ecological Paradise, is located almost at the equator, approximately 170 km west from Fortaleza’s International airport.
But due to the opening of a brand-new highway late 2007, Ilha do Guajirú is not at all far away!
On Ilha do Guajirú, it is hard not to participate in water sports! With the huge Main Lagoon in front, the sea behind the Dunes, and the River running behind the island’s back, what better ingredients could any watersports enthusiast desire?

It's realy windy here from june trough february for 99% of the days averaging 22 knots cross-onshore from the right. Super flat water in the lagune and waves outside!
You can have breakfast in a restaurant nextdoors. In the evening you can have dinner in the restaurants in the village Itarema at 3km. Supermarket nearby and kitchenette in the appartement.
